Our Background

Robert H. Hanaford started his Law Office in 1984 after several years as an attorney for two Chicago-based firms where he handled cases involving injuries and death resulting from medical malpractice, construction accidents, product liability and motor vehicle collisions. Currently, he has offices in Chicago and McHenry County.

The firm is dedicated to representing clients in personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits and in claims before the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission. Robert Hanaford has both defended and prosecuted personal injury and commercial disputes. Representative defense clients include numerous construction companies throughout the Chicago area, third party claims administrator WRAMSCO, the Illinois Insurance Guaranty Fund and Prairie Material Corporation, Millard Maintenance Group and Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation.
